Bvlgari partnered with Google Zoo Paris and UNIT9 to create an immersive, interactive experience that brings the magic of Rome to a global audience. The goal was to showcase how the Eternal City continues to inspire Bvlgari’s timeless collections, inviting users on a virtual journey through its most iconic landmarks.
Set beneath dreamy constellations illustrated by Italian street artist Lucamaleonte, the experience transforms real Roman locations into a surreal nighttime adventure. The Spanish Steps, Villa Borghese Gardens, Piazza Navona, and the Colosseum become illuminated pathways where users can explore how these historic sites have shaped Bvlgari’s distinctive aesthetic.
To bring this vision to life, we used the Angular JavaScript framework to build a responsive, multilingual site with progressive loading and high-performance visuals. Fast loading times and crisp, high-quality images were essential, aligning with both UNIT9’s technical standards and Bvlgari’s luxury brand identity.
Visitors navigate the site along a glowing path, interacting with hotspots to uncover stories and details about each location. The design encourages exploration and storytelling, deepening the connection between Rome’s ancient beauty and Bvlgari’s modern elegance.
