BARCELONA

A 3D Music Video

A unique, interactive music video built on Sketchfab

Barcelona is one of those rare opportunities to try something completely new. For the single ‘Barcelona’ from Alex Kozobolis’s album Somewhere Else, Alex wanted something unique as a music video - we came up with an experiment which questions whether the format of a music video can exist in the form of a 3d model.

Barcelona is a collaboration between Studio ANRK and Alex Kozobolis, and revolves around a 3D model which is frozen in time, while the sparkling melancholic piano keys play on. We built the project entirely within Sketchfab’s 3d platform, a unique approach which means the music video is a space you explore, in your own time.

Barcelona shows us how moments of closeness can be experienced differently by two people who are together, when both see the same thing from their own perspective.

There are subtle differences to the world reflected in the water on the ground. We created two worlds in Barcelona, the real version (spring) and the reflection (autumn).
