I'm an award-winning director with 20 years working at the edge of new technology. Studio ANRK is my creative practice, where together with a small team of collaborators, we translate complex, often invisible ideas into experiences that genuinely move people.

FIND YOUR WAY TO OZ

Awwwards Site of the Month for Google & Disney

We built Find Your Way to Oz: an interactive Chrome experience for Disney's 'Oz the Great and Powerful', with Google Creative Labs.

Sam Raimi's 'Oz the Great and Powerful' reimagined L. Frank Baum's world as a sweeping origin story, and Disney wanted a web experience that matched that ambition. Rather than a conventional trailer, we built a world the audience could step into and explore. The 3D environment was built entirely in WebGL, with GLSL shaders powering the ominous tornado sequence and the Web Audio API generating a spatial soundscape that adapted dynamically as users explored. Through WebRTC's getUserMedia, visitors could photograph themselves and step into the story as a circus character. On mobile, the experience pushed the limits of the web platform — using gyroscope, accelerometer, and multi-touch to deliver something normally only possible in native apps.
