A Meditation App for Meta Quest 3, Built for In-Flight Use

The meditation experience needed to deliver calm and clarity amid in-flight distractions.

Working with Nexus Studios and Meta, Anrick designed a mixed reality meditation app for the Quest 3, one of three prototypes built for in-flight use. The app guides passengers through breathing exercises and mudras: hand gestures that recharge focus and ease stress, with real-time feedback from a responsive hummingbird guide. Recognizing these subtle gestures reliably meant designing for limited physical movement, variable cabin lighting, and hand tracking within a tight, constantly shifting frame of reference.

MEDITATION: A hummingbird guide flies across a dark cabin interior as an INHALE breathing prompt appears, with a tip on using a mudra to recharge energy.
MEDITATION: The Anjali mudra prompt card, reading Alleviates Stress and Anxiety, shown against a dim cabin interior.
MEDITATION: Two glowing hands form the Anjali mudra as a countdown timer guides the user to hold the pose for fifteen seconds.
