# Sea Prayer — A VR Experience

**Brought to life in Tiltbrush, Sea Prayer is about memories and hope.**

Written by Khaled Hosseini (a UNHCR goodwill ambassador), Sea Prayer is an imagined letter from a Syrian father to the son lying asleep in his lap, on the eve of their sea crossing to Europe. Made by The Guardian in collaboration with UNHCR.

The piece was created in Tilt Brush by artist Liz Edwards, voiced by Adeel Akhtar, with a score composed by Sahba Aminikia and performed by the Kronos Quartet and musician David Coulter. 3D spatial sound design by Henrik Oppermann. Development by So When?
