**Roman Treasures**

A nighttime stroll through Rome's most iconic locations to discover their influence on Bvlgari's collections.

## Overview

Bvlgari partnered with Google Zoo Paris and Unit9 to create an immersive, interactive experience that brings the magic of Rome to a global audience. The goal was to showcase how the Eternal City continues to inspire Bvlgari's timeless collections, inviting users on a virtual journey through its most iconic landmarks.

Set beneath dreamy constellations illustrated by Italian street artist Lucamaleonte, the experience transforms real Roman locations into a surreal nighttime adventure. The Spanish Steps, Villa Borghese Gardens, Piazza Navona, and the Colosseum become illuminated pathways where users can explore how these historic sites have shaped Bvlgari's distinctive aesthetic.

## Technology

Built using the Angular JavaScript framework to create a responsive, multilingual site with progressive loading and high-performance visuals. Each location was captured using a scanning method that produced three concentric rings of imagery — over 30 photos per site — creating highly detailed 3D reconstructions. Post-processing removed modern distractions, like ongoing construction at the Colosseum, to preserve the timeless feel of each setting.

Visitors navigate along a glowing path, interacting with hotspots to uncover stories about each location and its connection to Bvlgari's design heritage.
