# Bosch AR
**An Augmented Reality App**

## Overview

An Augmented Reality experience which allows you to pick from five Bosch characters and bring them into your world. Hieronymus Bosch was a Dutch painter from Brabant and one of the most notable representatives of the Early Netherlandish painting school. His work, generally oil on oak wood, mainly contains fantastic illustrations of religious concepts and narratives.

We wanted to create an opportunity for anyone with a smartphone to bring to life some of Bosch's characters, painted circa 1500, into the world around them.

## The App

Choose from five characters drawn directly from Bosch's paintings and watch them animate and inhabit your physical environment in augmented reality. Each character has been meticulously modelled and textured to stay true to Bosch's distinctive visual style, then brought to life with custom animation.
