# Assassin's Creed
**Crowd-Sourced Art for Ubisoft**

## Overview

We built a crowd-sourced art microsite for Ubisoft's Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag. The experience centred on a single vast painting — 4.5 metres by 2.3 — depicting a pirate battle at the heart of the game's world.

## The Experience

Users uploaded their photo to compete for one of 200 character slots, then voted over four weeks to decide who made the cut. The faces chosen were presented to painters at the Beaux-Arts, who made the final selection. The finished work was then exhibited in one of Paris' most celebrated museums.

## Awards
